CATALYST LEARNING COOPERATIVE (CLC)
OUR WORK uses a cooperative inquiry approach to help leaders and specialty personnel:
- Develop shared understanding and perspectives.
- Engage in joint work efforts and strategies, and
- Utilize broad evidence(s) of impact.
We accomplish these goals by providing a hybrid, sustained model of professional learning that blends in-person and virtual experiences, allowing leaders to grow over time rather than through two- or three-day workshops. Our cooperative approach includes:
- In-Person Events. High-impact gatherings that launch and anchor the cooperative and its work.
- Virtual Sessions. Strategically timed between in-person sessions to deepen understanding, apply new learning, and reflect.
- Coaching. Personalized 1:1 and small group sessions tailored to individual and team needs, promoting real-time growth and application.
- Learning Cooperatives. Cross role, school, district, region, and state groups of 8-10 leaders and specialists who want to focus on a common theme.
Why OUR WORK Matters
All leaders and specialists in educator deserve professional learning that:
- Is responsive to their unique challenges and contexts.
- Builds leadership capacity intentionally and over time.
- Provides actionable strategies rooted in research and evidence.
- Elevates system-wide coherence without adding initiative fatigue.
PD models that are over a few days fail to offer long-term, embedded support that results in sustainable impact. CLC intends to change that through a:
- Hybrid Model. Seamlessly integrating in-person and virtual experiences.
- Evidence-Driven. Strategies grounded in research and informed by practitioner experience.
- Strengths-Based. Helping leaders and specialists identify and amplify what is working, while tackling challenges with clarity, courage, and solutions that are sustainable.
- Boutique Design. A customizable experience that always considers the local context and current reality of practitioners.
